Write 5 original poems in the following formats AND LINK TO YOUR WIKI. Call your link “My Poems”
· 1 Haiku (image poem)
· 1 Flash Fiction (prose poem)
· 3 others-choose from other options presented to you
Prepare your best 2 for Euphony submissions-see me for the cover sheets

Choose 5 poems from the poetry180 website http://www.loc.gov/poetry/180/p180-list.html that you enjoyed reading and do the following for each one:
· Copy and paste each poem with poem title and name of poet included onto one Word document
· Under each poem, write a brief explanation of why you enjoyed the poem-be specific! Talk about the topic of the poem, its humor or its drama, if you relate to it on a personal level, the word choices you thought were effective, emotional, memorable, etc. Your explanation should be in a different color font than the poem itself and should be about a ¼ page single-spaced (a paragraph).
